Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Healthnava's website, applications, and related services. By using Healthnava, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, booking an appointment, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Description of services

Healthnava is a technology platform that connects patients with independent licensed healthcare providers for cash-pay telehealth and in-person visits. Healthnava is not a medical provider and does not practice medicine, provide clinical advice, or establish a provider-patient relationship with you. Medical services are delivered solely by the providers you choose.

User responsibilities

As a patient or visitor, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration and health information
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Attend scheduled appointments or cancel according to provider policies
  • Pay applicable fees at the time of booking unless otherwise stated
  • Not misuse messaging, video, or record features

Doctor responsibilities and credentialing

Providers listing on Healthnava represent that they hold valid licenses in the jurisdictions where they practice, maintain professional liability coverage as required, and comply with applicable laws and medical board rules.

Healthnava may verify credentials during onboarding but does not guarantee ongoing licensure status. Providers are solely responsible for clinical decisions, documentation, and care delivered to patients.

Payment terms and refunds

Fees are displayed before you confirm a booking. Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. Unless a provider or Healthnava policy states otherwise, fees are generally non-refundable once a service has been rendered.

Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the provider's cancellation policy shown at booking. Disputed charges should be directed to support@healthnava.com within a reasonable time after the transaction.

Telehealth disclaimer

Telehealth visits are not appropriate for all conditions. Healthnava is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

Video and messaging services depend on your device and internet connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Intellectual property

The Healthnava name, logo, website design, software, and content are owned by Healthnava or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our platform except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Healthnava and its affiliates, officers, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you paid to Healthnava for the transaction giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if no fees were paid.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
